almost two months ago, i ordered two pairs of moccasins at the website of minnetonka moccasin shop. the moccasins never arrived here in zuerich / switzerland. five times, i asked them throug e-mail, what happened and when i will get the moccasins, but i NEVER GOT ANY ANSWER!! yesterday, i informed paypal and used their customer service to report unusual methods and errors. i wrote one more e-mail directly through the paypal service to resolve problems to the minnetonka mocassin shop.
and hey – they are alive! – today as i checked my e-mail, there was a mail from paypal in which they informed me, that a mister, named jim (jim@franklinleather.com) has refunded my money to my paypal account…
it is fact, that i would never see any moccasins and never get back any money from this mocassins shop, without informing paypal!
- i can only tell to everyone out there, NOT TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS

so, und jetzt noch auf deutsch: vor zwei monaten habe ich im webshop von minnetonka moccasin shop in den usa zwei paar mokasin bestellt. kurz darauf habe ich auch eine bestellbestätigung via e-mail erhalten und alles schien in butter. nachdem drei wochen vergangen waren und ich noch immer kein paket mit mokasins erhalten hatte, habe ich mal per e-mail nachgefragt, wo denn meine bestellten schuhe geblieben sind. – keine antwort! auch nach mehrmaligem nachfragen auf die verschiedenen e-mail adressen, welche ich auf ihrer webseite gefunden habe, habe ich keine einzige antwort erhalten.
als ich nun gestern paypal informierte und über den kundenschutz service noch einmal ein e-mail an die damen und herren vom minnetonka moccasin shop geschrieben habe, hatte ich heute morgen postwendend eine antwort von paypal, dass der gesamte betrag auf mein paypal konto zurückgebucht wurde. welch wunder – sie leben!
ich kann hier nur dringend davon abraten, bei diesem shop irgend etwas zu kaufen! wenn ich nicht reagiert hätte, dann würde ich wohl weder die von mir bestellten mokasin, noch mein bereits bezahltes geld jemals wieder sehen…
so, und nun habe ich also auch meine drohung wahr gemacht, als ich denen geschrieben habe, dass ich den fall publizieren werde und hoffe, dass dieser beitrag ein gutes ranking bei google bekommt!

Leider kosten die Mocassins in der Schweiz Fr. 160.00 bei Minnetonka-Schweiz, die identischen Schuhe bei Shoebuy.com $ 49.99. Dazu kommen noch ca. $ 25 für die Lieferung in die Schweiz, was bisher tiptop geklappt hat.

Hey i read your post and i like to say that sometimes company that does not satisfy our expectations that company make it’s image not good for customer. As per i think that minnetonka moccasins boots are good and comfortable and i have take it from sterlingleather.com. If you like to go there then try it.
